I watched this new video which is called Fisch movie. In this movie it talks about how the technology has been expanding from day to day. It talks about how we will be looking at technology in the future. Weather is going to get worse or better for us. So mainly to me the movie was pretty scary, because it talks about so many things that I didn't know that were even out there.



From all of the things that it mentioned in the movie, many things caught my attention. For example:

• Did you know that if myspace was a country, it would be the 11th country in the world? That means that it would be between Japan and Mexico!:0 That is soo weird, but it's true. I was pretty shocked when I was watching the movie, because I didn't know that is how many people have a myspce. But I guess that myspace is the #1 thing that teens and even adults do now in days. I have a myspace of my own, but I really don't even spend that much time on it.




• Did you know that 60 babies will be born in the U.S, 244 in China, and 351 in India by each day? That is some crazy stuff right there! I didn't really know how many women get pregnant each day, and how many give birth. I' m really shocked to hear that, because that is kind of scary. I mean there is more and more women getting pregnant so that means that there is more mouths to feed. Not that I think that is a bad thing, but there isn't enough food for some of them in their country.



• Did you know that people check their myspace up to 30 times a day? That is way more time than what people need to. That is also way more than what people, or teens, study for!! But I guess people are just so full of themselves, and they don't have nothing else to do. Or maybe because they don't have a life!! No, I think because they need some entertainment. And I'm not saying that all people that have a mysapce spend all that time on it, and check it that often. I'm just saying that was the record for people to check their myspace.

Well now that I told you some pretty amazing things that I found in that movie, I think I should tell you a little bit of the creator of the Fisc movie. Well his name is Karl Fisch and the reason that he made that little movie was because he thought that people should really know what technology is doing to our world. What the real future will be like, even though some stuff may sound a little too weird, thats what he wants us to know.

What is RSS?

Do you konw what an RSS aggregator is? If you don't then its ok, at first I didn't know what it was myself, so I decided to do some research on it and what I found a lot of things about it. RSS means Rich Site Summary, you use it to aggregate the stuff that you like, and the stuff that you want. It's better because instead of you going into the web and trying to see what is new, if you suscribe to the website that has your favorite stuff it sends you all the latest stuff to your RSS reader. An RSS reader is in a google account, but you can install it in your own computer. This Web 2.0 tools are very important because it helps us in many ways to many different people. It has helped me as in that I go and chekc my RSS reader and it tells me all the stuff that is new. So all I have to do is go in my RSS reader and check out all the new stuff that has arrived. It tells you how many new things you have. You can suscribe to as many websites as you want, and you can fix them and put them in files so then you can know where they are. I think that this new Web2.0 tools are very useful, not only to any person , but also to iportant people, like the president? I mean anybody can use these tools and have fun with it, or get educational with it.

If a person knows how to work, and how to use an RSS aggregator, he has the power to do a lot of things!! Is like if they had the power of the magic finger, you just click on the RSS button and you have suscribed for that wqebsite!!

You can easily see if you can suscribe to that website by making sure that it has the little button on the website. You have to look for little buttons anywhere around the website, if there isn't any then you have to look for any words that either say "suscribe" or something like that. This new webware called Picnik.com is a new webware that lets you do what ever you want to your pictures. You can change, create, add, and a lot more to your photos. This webware can create many things for online users. It can help you to change any pictures that you want. It helps you to create them better, it helps you to touch-up them. It helps you to put little details that make a very big difference!

The features that impressed me the most is that it helped me to give my picture a softer touch to it. It helped me to give it some better colors in it. I used this thing called Soften, which helps it give it a soft touch. It has a scale for you to use, so you can control it how you want it. I also used this other thing called Sharpen, which makes your picture as sharp as you want it to. I really like this webware, because it helps me to make my pictures how ever I want them look, and turn out.

Picnik.com can improve by giving the premium effects free, for at least one month or so!! It can also help if the webware could get more affects. Like, for example, to make the picture get a different background then its original one. Also they can get better frames, which they can also make the premium ones free for one month. They can get more stuff for the touch-up part. But other than that everything is good about this webware.

Some reviews that picnik.com has are a lot. So I'll talk about one that Elizabeth West talked about: In her review she talked about how picnik.com is a very good webware that lets her put photos from all over the places, and how it lets her change them as many ways as she wants and can. She also talks about how she was impressed at how easy, fun, and useful picnik.com is to her and other people. She also says how much the webware has offered her and friends. So why don't you go on and try it out for your self!!! This is an example of what picnik.com has done to my pictures. It helped me to soften the look of it. It helped me to put the matte around the picture which i colored it red. It also helped me to make it a little sharpened so you can actually see the texture of the roses. So go on and try it out for your own pictures!!!!!

web 1.0 vs. web 2.0

In this post I will be talking about Web 1.0 and Web2.0. Do you know what is Web1.0? Well, Web1.0 is more like a negative thing than being a positive thing to me. It doesn't let you make a blog on the Internet that easy. Actually, it doesn't let you make a blog at all. It is individual , which means that you can't make a web page for yourself, like Alex Barnett said. It is only readable, which means that you can use web 1.0 only to read stuff. It is very boring to me. I think this because if you cant put anything on it for yourself, you are only reading stuff that people want you to read. For example, if you have something to say about politics or government that you think is important for other people to know, but cant post it because Web1.0 doesn't offer you this. Then you cant post anything on the web, and wo't let other people know about your ideas. Some people think that Web1.0 is already "old school" (just like Kathy Sierra said) So I think that I have said enough of Web 1.0 for you to know!

Well right now I am going to talk about Web 2.0. Web 2.0 is much more better than web1.0. I think that it is much better because in web 2.0 you actually create a page in the Internet/blog for your own use. In this blog you can talk about anything that you want. Web 2.0 is very easy to use and it is also very fun. You can actually do more stuff for your own use for example, Google Docs. Which is a very good way of organizing and creating documents. I would say that this is more helpful than Microsoft Word. But that is only my opinion. Web 2.0 hasn't been here for a long time. but it is been long for people to notice the difference that it has. I think it has much more technology than Web1.0. Web 2.0 is more distributed, more writable, and most important you can talk to people across the world!!! Isn't that awesome?
